Here is your ‘one stop’ site to help you as a community legal clinic board member fulfill your governance role.

The site has been designed by the members of the Board Supports Working Group (BSWG), a group of volunteer board members just like yourself. We are committed to providing our fellow board members with the tools, training and education they need to effectively govern.

 What's New:

The BSWG recently announced a change to its Provincial Board Training strategy.  Rather than holding four in-person events - which had garnered poor registration results - the decision has been made to offer the training content in webcast format.  For more information, please visit our Training Tools page and click on Board Webcasts to view the topics, dates and times!

Did you know that the Board Supports Working Group has launched a new set of Bite Size Pieces covering ED Evaluation?  Please visit our Tools' page and click on 'Bite Size Pieces' to see the details of all five new modules!

The BSWG receives funding from the Provincial Learning and Action Committee to continue it's board governance learning efforts for a further term. The current phase of the project will run to March 31, 2010. To review the workplan for the current phase click here!

The BSWG is a proud winner of two Public Sector Quality Fair awards.  Our second award was was presented at the 2007 fair on September 24th, 2007. Our display at the 2007 Fair is shown on the right -  click here to learn more about the PSQF.
